Currently in production is the epic historical drama feature film titled “Standing Bear”. With formal Resolutions of Support from the Ponca Tribe, “Standing Bear” will chronicle the Ponca’s harrowing "trail of tears" march and the landmark 1879 Trial of Standing Bear in Omaha, Nebraska. This pivotal legal case, largely unknown to many, played a crucial role in recognizing all Native Americans as "human beings" under the law and established precedents for future civil rights matters within the U.S. courts.

The “Standing Bear” film has received an array of backing from the Nebraska Legislature and various production incentives from the Cherokee Nation Film Office, and Screen Ireland who contributed development incentives.

“Standing Bear” is being produced jointly by Troy Entertainment and Hell's Kitchen Ltd, along with producers Luca Matrundola (Waiting for the Barbarians, Ritual Killers) of WWPS.tv and longtime Anonymous Content executive, Paul Green (The Revenant, Spotlight, The Fifth Estate). Notable executive producers include Warren Anzalone, Gary Walters, Bart Daly, and former Nebraska Senators Colby Coash and Burke Harr. Casting Director Rene Haynes (Killers of the Flower Moon, The English, Prey, Dances with Wolves) will oversee the casting process.
